    Default When to re-mineralize water?

    1) If you use simple filtered tap water of TDS 70 and tank water is GH 6 after adding water ,
    would you add minerals?

Depending on what kind of shrimp you want to keep.

Then I would not do this until I see they get trouble with molting or not looking healthy. Because GH6 is the number most keepers want to have for CR and TWB.

Thanks bro, I would like to ask, what would indicate it has moulting problems..
It seems when GH is lower i observed that it molts less.

I would recommend to add special salts anyway, because TDS shows the minerals solved in the water all together, as well as GH all this means general mineralization, but the shrimps need Mg, Ca and K much more than other elements, the problem is you cannot see how much elements of Mg, Ca and K you have in the water by measuring TDS. It could contain everything but needed ones. And the lack of the most important elemenets could cause problems with molting.

I keep my TDS @ 120-130 in my SS/SSS CRS tank... so your TDS @ 70 = adding minerals
    (CRS enjoy 6GH - <1KH - 6.5PH)

I remineralize my pure RODI water with Salty Shrimp GH+ & 1/2 dose of Azoo Mineral+/Vita +, and I also add a few tiny grains of Mosura PH down per 4.7gallons to reach 6.5PH
