    Default Need help please

I added 3 cherry shrimp to my 5g tank yesterday. Late this afternoon I noticed 2 were missing and after a bunch of searching the intake hole caught my eye. Unplugged everything, got a flashlight, and yup, the other 2 were in the back of the tank.

What could I safely use to prevent the shrimp from going thru that would still allow water flow?

    Thanks so much!

    Can you provide more information?
Such as what type of filter. eg canister, sump, or HOB, or built in ones.
But most of the time shrimps will squeeze into any tight holes they can find regardless if it is safe for them or not, because its dark and to them that is safe.
But if you have a canister filter you can actually purchase a filter guard for shrimps which is basically a guard that you place on your intake to prevent adult and baby shrimps from passing through.

You can solve this issue by either that method or just including more holes and crevices they can hide in or under.
    Hope this helps.
