Furthermore, for shrimplets... should i feed shrimp baby food? or will it be fine on its own?

Since you are having a small 14L tank, I will suggest you to feed only once every 3 days. Feed only 1/4 wafer at a time. Remove it immediately once you see not much shrimp eating it.

If your tank is only 2 weeks old, I will not suggest you feeding the baby powder, which is just wheat bran powder. Once you feed the shrimp, you will have ammonia spike.

    Forgot to answer this.

The spray bar should be on the right side together with your filter inlet.

May I ask above or below water ? And what is is rationale to keep it on the right. To do this, the spray bar needs sortening right ?

If you don't mind the noise, above water level is better. Or else, place it 2 to 3cm below water level and point the holes 45 to 60 degree up. In this way, the water will puncture through the water surface to increase the aeration.

Since your tank is not completely cycle, there will be bacteria bloom sometime later. When there is aerobic bacteria bloom, your tank will lack of O2 and/ or too much CO2. As such, I will recommend you putting air-pump and air-stone.

    Thanks for the information,
I would like to further ask, is the angle pointing towards glass ?

In addition, since I have air pump to sponge , will I need to ditch the whole system and place air stone ? I currently have a new canister running atm.
