You have a low gh-kh if you use sulawesi mineral 8'5, do you use the recommended dose? and also, how did you dissolve it?

Did you try to give them fish flakes, beer yeast, fry powder food, sera crab food, sera shrimp food..? there are so many foods they love!! mine eat a lot and i try to give them as variated as possible.

    Nice tank !
You have enough algae et microfauna for eating, they need nothing else. Just sometime some babyshrimp powder and pollen.
It's true, TDS and GH seems low.

Why tds and gh is low ?
    i see , babies growing.
    What parameters they must have?
The tank run with those water parameters , 5-6months, i didnt see any problem.
i add one spoon , salty mineral 8.5 for 20 liters, i leave it to run one day with a pump and then add to tank. (water is like milk, but the other day water tank is clean)
    Sorry for my English...

Don't worry too much on TDS and GH.

I keep my Sulawesi shrimps in 4dGH, 4dKH and pH 7.6. They are doing fine and breeding well too.

For them it's ok those parameters, they are one of the easiest to keep and they are quite strong, i refer about the low gh-kh you have using those salts.
The manufacturer says that 3grams in 20 liter leaves 7ş of gh, this is not really true as i am using those salts too and i have to add more product to reach the values. I do the same process to dissolve the salts, no co2 is used and i also got milky water.

My cardinals are maintained with Sera mineral salt at ph8'3 gh7 and kh4, i used sulawesi mineral once but it's too expensive for them, i prefer to use it with the more delicated species i keep.

Just look low because with same opération I have GH 7 KH, 5 and TDS 160µS.
The 8.5 salt need to be solve at 28/30°C and i do that, so water is not milky.

But if all is good for your Caridina, all is ok.

    haha ... dont know...
Maybe i have lower in the tank because of snails.

The tds i wrote , is in ppm , so its 203ms.

What behaviors have in your aquarium?
I have noticed that staying at specific points in the aquarium .
All shrimp in the aquarium on the left side , right side not gone yet .
Usually located between the stone and the wood and where approached by someone hiding .

    ok for tds !!! i prefer ...

For behavior, Since I have young, they begin to colonize the whole tray.
I never see anything but eat the algae on the rocks.
They hide less now as we pass.
