    Default wich gender ?

    Hello i am new to this forum and i have been running a nano 25l with co2 for some time with a thriving bumble bee colony.
    Now i found 2 CRS shrimp and i cant quite make out which gender they are. if anybody can help me i appreciate it.

    For me it's not possible to see when they are this size. Please be patient .

    thanks ill post pics up when they are bigger. on my bumble bees its easy to tell if they are m/f

    #1 maybe female - not very sharp picture I can be wrong
    #2 male - I'm 100 percent sure

    PS If a shrimp is already 13 mm long gender determination is possible

    Thanks, but it's still unhelpful unfortunataly, I need the barbs, but not the tale. =)

    Right, better to say antennas. =)

    And better I'll show you. The length of the male antennas (all 3 pairs) is almost double size longer.
    Compare the shrimps, they are the same size and age.

    Nobody knows as I know so welcome the new knowledge =)
    There are also a couple of other options to determine gender but both of them are not in common use.
    I will not tell about them since it requiers very good macro lens and DSLR unless it will be not possible to find.
    First one (with antennas) is very simple and easy to find.
