Default crs cross with orange tiger.

few months ago i accidentally introduced a small amount of sakura shrimps into my balcony pond. by the time I realized I already have a few hundred of them. few weeks ago I pop by my local LFS and couldn't resist buying 2 bags of cheap but nice colors tiny crs and orange tigers. dumped them into the same pond. The new shrimps seems to be doing well n gaining size. Does anybody know how will the crs n orange tiger mix look like ? or do you think I should separate them?

I think you will get tibee's unless it's an orange bee and not an orange tiger.

As long as the water peramiters are good you could keep them in a bucket.

The larger the water body the better. Hence, keeping in pond in theory is better. However, SG does get pretty hot during the day and become as cool as 24C at night. Therefore, the water temperature may rise too high or fluctuate too fast that will kill the shrimp.

Are your pond sheltered? What is the water temperature like during mid day and mid night/dawn?

The pond is sheltered. temp is pretty constant between 27-28 degrees C whole day. Its full of hornwort and algae. The sakuras got huge much much faster than keeping in my 2ft tank. I probably accidentally introduced afew sakura shrimplets into the pond when i transferred some hornwort from my 2ft tank sump filter to the pond.

To you is dirty, it may not to shrimps.

They just don't like toxic substances.
