You call rili Neocaridina shrimp such as carbon rilis, orange rilis, and "classical" red rilis?
I am sorry for being confused about this, I feel like a newb right now..

This might be a silly question, but can you use normal tiger shrimp to make Tibees? Like say Tiger(normal not OEBT)x CRS/TB

    Yes, you can.

Reason I use blue diamond is to ensure I get solid blue offspring.

If you have available tank, can you do this experiment to prove they do cross-breed? Below is a simple test you need to do:
    1. Have the tank parameter suit Taiwan Bee instead of Neo.
    2. Put 2 matured female Taiwan Bee in the tank.
    3. Put 5 matured male Neo into the tank.
    4. Leave it for up to 6 months. This will force the female to have false pregnancy for a couple of times and it will start to accept the male Neo's sperm. (I did this by crossing Blue Diamond and Taiwan Bee)

    Amazing! Thanks for this information.

I ever cross Rili with BKK before (yes, people said Neo does not cross with BKK but I ever did it). The end result is my Rili has black meat and slight black on the red area edge. I think they are able to cross breed may due to both of them have tiger gene.
    Hi hyoushoku,
    This is very very interesting!
Do u have a picture of your rili x bkk?

    Hi yapkh,

They are cross-breed years ago and I don't think I can find the direct descendant now. If I ever find them (mine is heavily planted tank I do not know what shrimps are there), I will share a picture.

Really nice read on your blog. Have you bred the F3 back to F0 (I'm guessing these are BKK or Blue Diamond?) yet or are the F3 still too young to breeding age?
