It does not look like a King Kong at all, no stripe or such. And the price is 100 times more than a Yellow Neocaridina. For now, I pass.

I agree with ShrimpmasterNL. The yellow shrimps in henrik_hundslev's link look like over-priced yellow Neo (the rusty/matte top of the carapace is a signature of Neo). Even it is a King Kong, transparent King Kong is usually not consider good grade.

I'm confused and will be surprise if anyone buy it. If this shrimp worth so much, then I should consider selling my deep blue Neo (I have few hundreds of them) at this price and I will make a huge fortune. LOL!!!

If there is any German folks active here, maybe can explain more about this shrimp.

I just use Google to find some Information. No need to be german.
I read that this shimp is a new breed from Taiwan. It belongs to the bee shrimp family although it does not look like it.

LOL!!! I read some where saying is from Germany. That's why I thought of asking German fellow breeders.

Interestingly, I never heard anything about this shrimp over my side, even I'm an hour away from Taiwan. Let me use Google translate to Chinese and search. Maybe I will search the Jap site too.

I tried the other method by searching Orange and Yellow King King image on Google using local language. After that I match the picture with the picture in the link above and it all come out as "Yellow Cherry Shrimp" or "Golden Back Yellow Shrimp", which I believe it is Yellow Neo.

    Hi Frank,

Is Yellow Neo uncommon in Germany?
