Default JBL Manado - Is it ok to use for shrimps?

    Hello,

I'm thinking of starting two small tanks which will have a pH target around 7 (which is my tap water).

I don't want to use ADA ou akadama, as they both lower pH a lot (and I already have 4 tanks with this soils).

I've been trying to buy some Dennerle Crystal Black soil but it is hard to get here at Portugal.

What do you think about JBL Manado?
I've lots of it from a previous planted tank I've had in a recent past but I have heard that it raises a lot conductivity...

The species in this thanks will be neocaridinas, tigers and babaulti.

Thanks in advance for any help!

it do raise conductivity so your tigers wont be happy why dont you just use neutral soil whit some under the soil like plant grow substrate from tropica.

    Thanks for the reply.
I will not use Manado then...
I do not need any plant grow substrate as I will not be using any steem plants, only mosses.
I will go on considering other options. Thanks!
