    Default My Neocardina Tanks :)

    Hi! I have 4 neocardina tanks.

    My shrimp tanks ;

    1) Yellow Fire Neon Shrimp - 15 liter /8 shrimp

    About Tank:

    pH: 6.6
    kH: 7
    Temparature: 26-27 C

    Food: Tetra bits, tetra min , tetra wafers mix, tetra pro vegetable, spriluna tabs, ...
    Plants: Moss types, subulata, java fern, bacopa ...


    2) Red Cherry Shrimp - 30 liter /+80 shrimp

    About Tank:

    pH: 6.8
    kH: 7
    Temparature: 27-28 C

    Food: Tetra bits, tetra min , tetra wafers mix, tetra pro vegetable, spriluna tabs, ...
    Plants: Moss types, subulata, java fern, bacopa ...



    3) Sakura Shrimp - 10 liter / 10 shrimp

    About Tank:

    pH: 6.5
    kH: 7
    Temparature: 26-27 C

    Food: Tetra bits, tetra min , tetra wafers mix, tetra pro vegetable, spriluna tabs, ...
    Plants: Moss types, subulata, java fern, bacopa ...


    4) Blue Pearl Shrimp - 60 liter / +80 shrimp

    About Tank:

    pH: 6.9
    kH: 7
    Temparature: 25-26 C

    Food: Tetra bits, tetra min , tetra wafers mix, tetra pro vegetable, spriluna tabs, ...
    Plants: Moss types, subulata, java fern, bacopa ...

    Lovely tank and healthy shrimps.
    Its a pleasure seeing new tanks
    Keep the tank photos coming!

    We would surely like to see yr sakura and blue shrimp tanks as well.
    Can u add more info. like substrate used, tank cycle period, filtration, water change schedule, feeding routine, TDS, GH, use of RO+%age used, etc,

    Thanks I will add sakura and blue pearl shrimps photos.

    Substrate : Black Hagen Quartz.
    Tank cycle periot : Once in a week. %30
    Filtration : internal aquarium filter + air pump
    water change schedule : Once in a week. %30
    feeding routine. everday. but too few.
    tds : I dont know
    Gh: 6-7 ( I use city water and I dont do anyting. But water waits 3 day. Because clorine must be disapper. And I use mangrowe, mopani , red moor woods and capatta leaf ( I dry leaf). They alloy gh. )

    And I use petri plate for feed. If you use it you can get rid of planarias

    high temparature Ankara has continental climate Winter is too cold ( aquarium 22-23 C ) I use heater and the temparature 25-26 C .

    But in summer , aquarium ( 30-32 C !!! ) And I use pc fan , temparature 26-27 C

    Same climate, same temperature range in summer n winter. We use fans yet temp.range is high in summer without Chiller.

    All my tanks are at 22-23 C. Only in de summer somewhat higher. In the winter at night somewhat colder.
