    Default A lot of Spam

I thought this was a really active forum, but it seems that there are a lot of fake spam users online?
Is it not possible to make an extra check in the sign up form, like a captcha to get rid of this spam users?

This morning about 30 spam topics . If you don't deal with this fast, this forum could die as i've seen other forums go down who were flooded with spam

I'm aware of all the spams and are clearing them on an almost daily basis.
Today is really bad. There are many different spammers all posting together and in multiple threads.

I understand you all doing the best you can, but it seems to be all automated spam bots. If i were you I would change the 'human check' questions in the sign up form with new and unique ones. Or use a image captcha, no spam bot can read that. If that won't work you can enable the Moderate New Members feature, i found it's located in: Admin Control Panel-> Settings -> Options -> User Registration Options -> Moderate New Members -> Yes. Just for the time being. BTW, facebook login is disabled right? And of course delate all the spam users as much as possible...
    Spammes must be defeated!

    Thanks for your advice ShrimpmasterNL.
I've gotten in touch with the admin and we'll see what can be done.
Meanwhile, just took out 2 more spambots.

The Mods should be in different time zones so that a 24hr check is always possible.

Strengthen up all your security systems as well.

Too much spam in the forum to a point you dont want to open new posts.

There is spam almost a month old!!!

Admid should reduce the time needed to report posts.

Also the forum is very slow from time to time. I guess the spam bots also cause a lot of load and slow down everything. Also because of the spam, results in Google could drop.
I think the spam is the main reason I don't visit this forum not so much anymore. I just can't keep track on new and active topics because of all the spam .
