Default DIY shrimp hiding tubes- diameter?

    Hello,

I'm planning on having some ceramic tubes made for red cherry shrimp to hide in. What would be a good interior diameter? I've not seen these in person before.

    Thanks,
    Aplomado

Just in case you haven't found a solution to your answer, 3/4" in the U.S.A. or 2CM for the Metric countries.

It might be cheaper to buy Schedule 40 PVC (or it's equivalent) and use Krylon Fusion (an aerosol paint that chemically bonds to plastic) and make them even cheaper.
