A friend sent me a female yellow rili shrimp with an order but I have no current stock of yellows...being that the rili pattern is recessive would it show up in the second generation?
Basically:

Rili x normal = r x R=Rr

Rr x r = 50% Rr 50% r

Then next generation will be all rili.... Am I wrong? Im going to start my being process tomorrow once I pick my male up

My red rili are not recessive, crossed with red cherry they just give less rili shrimps (more red than good rili)

forgive my ignorance can you please explain this gene stuff rr x r ? I am not very knowledgable when it comes to the specifics of genes involved in breeding :)
