My tanks are getting full of ostracods nowadays and i noticed that they always tend to eat up my small ramhorn snails. Which may not be such a bad thing coz it keeps the population down.. but i can't stand the empty shells laying around.

HOwever i noticed something different today as the ostracods are eating up on a planaria (or did i mistaken it as a snail without shell? hmm)? Has anyone encounter the same scene where the ostracods are eating on the planaria?

Omg, thanks a lot. I didn't understand why my ramhorn babies are left with only one! I tend to change my water with RO quite often (used to have coral in it) so I didn't even find the shells...
