Fully formed shrimplet should be around 1 - 2mm long. Colourless or very slight colouration.

Just born Malayan is not is shrimplet form, size is small, compare with what Jack said for higher breeding form shrimps, Cherry and CRS. If it is Malayan, you will see hundreds of them, Cherry and CRS in order of 10s.

Tiny white spot with tail? Could be cyclope though.

Pregnant CRS should goes into hidding most of the time, they usually come out for food only. They will drop eggs when under stressed.

Hi,
Crystal Red shrimplets still have the red-white coloration of the adult. This is a 3 days old shrimplet:

http://www.shrimpnow.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/3daysoldCrystalRed.jpg

Malayan shrimps should have no shrimplets but free swimming colorless larvae in the first weeks which have almost no chance to survive in freshwater. There is a similar shrimp to the malayan shrimp which is smaller and should belong to the relationship of C. babaulti. This species belongs to the high order kind and the shrimplets are pretty small (<2mm) and colorless but they can grow up in freshwater.

Cherry shrimp shrimplets are colorless too and about 2mm big.

best regards

Robert

Jojoecute, your camera skill improves, even such a small one you can shoot them. :D Hope the blue baby will grow up to be blue in color, some hobbyists cannot get blue F1, so it is believed that the Parents are dyed.

Better ask around which digi cam to buy...
My 3.2mp digi cam with optical zoom must attach manifying glass then can capture nice picture of shrimp...
