I've got an Amano that has a defenate green tint to him. He's new, and is busily cleaning the tank after only being added a few minutes ago. Seems to be acting fine. Just the colour that throwing me off.

The tank is a 15 gallon fry tank that I use to both raise fry and hold plant clippings until I can ship them. Today I added 6 bee shrimp and 3 amanos. PH is between 7.8-8.2. Usually 7.8. Nitrates are 5- 10 ppm. The only other occupant right now is a small Kribensis fry and a few snails.

Any ideas?

I think the color comes from eating algae. The more they eat the greener they get.
