Hi, have been searching around for a while, but unable to find what I am looking for in Canada. I have planned to built my own LED light for my 7 gallon tank and had all material except the light fixture.

I am looking for the arm of a clamp light?
For ex. the arm of a JBJ K-2 Viper Clamp on Light

I saw a few in HK forums that where used for their DIY light.

I believe there is one made by a company call Dazs. com.hk but cant find anywhere that sells.
*unable to post pic because of my acc.

isn't is possible that you take a U shaped aluminum bar, place it over the edge of your aquarium and mount your light to it?

I can't post any links (don't have 15 posts :( ) sorry I cant show you an example...

Is it good? How bright is it?

There are also led bulbs with standard connectors (such as E27,E14 or G4) this may allow you to use standard lamps and give more choice of power and color spectrum.
