Interesting shrimp, but it's just one? The difference to the Red Rili shrimp is that they have been selected for a longer time and are genetically more stable, I guess.
@Jackk: Your are welcome to share further progress here :) Happy breeding!

Hi Jack,

some weeks ago a German aquarist showed a 'false coloured' Yellow Fire here:
http://forum.aquarienfotografie.net/viewtopic.php?f=18&p=31833
So that seems to happen from time to time.
If those shrimps have a special nice pattern and you are able to breed a pure strain of these Yellow Rili they can be an interesting enrichment for the shrimp scene.

Bye,
Peter

Well, a yellow fire shrimp should be completely yellow and not half yellow and half white. So in fact it is a false coloured yellow fire.
In the past breeders strictly sorted out all shrimps that looked like those.
Maybe in the future they are going to try to breed them as Rili Shrimps.

Hi Jack,

I wish you good luck and many nice little shrimps.
And yes, some photos of the offspings would be nice. I am very interested in seeing how the next generation looks like.

Peter
