Although a pleco's mouth is not designed to eat like normal other fish, they do grow to sizes that can be of danger to shrimp, even if accidental. I personally wouldn't take the risk, but you may at your own discretion.

Hi,
can you give us the latin name of this fish, please? I'm not familiar with all common english names of all fishes. A pleco is a very wide description. I wouldn't keep for example any Hypancistrus sp. with shrimps because they are carnivorous, although they are "plecos".

regards
Robert

They are not really go n attack the shrimp or shrimplet. But they way they swim or chasing for food. I believe they will "bang" the shrimplets n cause the shrimplets died. :)
