Hi, this is my Golden Crystal Shrimp tank. Stats as follows:

Tank: Standard 2.5 Gallon Tank. I removed to Rim to sorta give it that expensive ADA look.
Lighting: I'm running a CAD standard output fixture with four 10,000K 6w bulbs
CO2: I'm using a DIY system for this tank using one 2L bottle. It produces around 2 BPS.
Substrate: ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Powder
Filtration: The tank is running off an Azoo Mini Palm Filter, it runs at 16 GPH. it has a sponge over the intake to prevent the sucking up of shrimps.
Heating: None

Water Parameters:

pH: 6
GH: 2
Temp.: 70F/21C
Ammonia/Nitrate/Nitrite: 0 ppm

Plants:

I'm using Pogostemon Helferi, Glosso, and Christmas Moss.

Inhabitants:

As of now there is 1 Sakura Shrimp and one Amano Shrimp, they are testing out the water for now. The tank has been running for 2 weeks and the filter was previously running on a different set up. They are doing great so I think I will be getting the Golden Crystal Shrimp next week. I can't wait. I got a group of 8 for this tank for only $60!

Day 1

Week 1- I removed the black background because it does not look very nice in my opinion. Also I removed some stems of glosso in the front to give the shrimp more crawling room.

This is the Sakura Shrimp- She is testing the water. She is doing very well and her colors have improved since I bought her.

I am considering removing the Glosso and covering most of the substrate with Catappa Leaves. Thoughts? Also, my Golden Crystals are supposed to arrive on tuesday along with some Mosura food. I cannot wait!

Hello!
My shrimp arrived today ;). I acclimated them for a half hour then introduced them into the tank. They are doing great and are already grazing for food and such. The tank looks nice with the newly added Catappa leaves and the water has a slight brown tint. Anyways, here are your pictures:

Better not keep golden crs only, the generations to come will have thinner white.
