Hi.

Its time for my Tiger get a biger home after 10L. Not finished yet but soon.

Specifications:

Tank: 50L

Filtration: Wave Filipo 300

Lightning: 1*24W T5, if reguired 2*24 T5W

Substrate: 6kg Water Plant Activated Soil- something like ADA Amazonia i hope:)

Dosing: ProFito, EasyCarbo + macroelements PPS-Pro dosing daily

Flora: Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba'

Fauna: Caridina cf. cantonensis Tiger, Otocinclus affinis

Water changes: 25% weekly 50%RO/50%tap water

If you don't have any fish or shrimp in there, and you want the HC to fill in quickly, you could try the dry start method. That is, simply fill the tank up to the substrate line and keep the substrate wet. The HC will be able to pull CO2 directly from the air while being fed nutrients directly.

Retardo: no shrimps yet, but no time to wait for dry method because shrimps are in 10L tank and waiting this one

Loveshrimp: about triming, no idea;)

you're dosing something similar to seachem excel for carbon right

the HC requires a large amount of CO2 naturally
meaning the carbon dosing should be quite high also

yep, EasyLife Easy Carbo - for now 1ml a day, after some time i will double the dose

I guess with safe you mean crossbreeding.
They donīt cross from what I know.
