OK, I've seen references to both yellow and green eggs. But I've only ever seen pictures of the yellow.

What's the difference? Are green unfertilized?

I'm hoping that the reason this female hasn't produced is no male of the same or similar age.

Tanks,
Mike

OK...there was one comment in dwaffer's thread #188 about the same thing...but no answer. Posts were by dwaffer and gigahertz mostly. Anyone?

grrr. It wouldn't let me enter a URL because I'm not a "regular forumer".

As far as I know, there's no real difference between the green and yellow eggs. If she has had those eggs for more than a week, they're most likely fertilized.

I saw one discussion that theorized that the green eggs produced babies that would grow into less red adults, but I'm not sure if that's really true.

Well, she's only had them since yesterday. I'm going to keep an eye on her, of course. :)
