Hello,

I have a few questions.

(1) May I know which chiller and model is recommended for one 2-feet tank?

(2) If I have two 2-feet tanks, and wish to share the chiller, which chiller would you recommend? And how to set up if wish to share between 2 tanks?

(3) Is it recommended to share chiller between 2 tanks?

(4) Where would you recommend to buy?

I know Arctica is good, but it is out of my budget.

I know of Resun and Hailea brand, but have bad experiences with Hailea products. My husband bought Hailea air pump before, it's super noisy.
There is also Teco brand? How is this chiller also?

(5) Is resun chiller noisy?

Thank you for your help. Please feel free to share your reviews.

hi shrimpster
i am using a resun cl280 on my 60 by 25 by 25 tank and it seems it doesnt kick in alot.
it doesnt make an sound unless u get real close to it (vibration)
if somthing makes noise means somewhere is faulty or misplaced.
mine is around 2xx sgd for pricing wise.
if you are doing a 2 feet set up, best to get a 3 eet chiller as in future, your bills will be lower in long term run.

Thanks alot for your reply.

Where did you buy your Resun?

Is CL280 suitable for a 2 feet tank?

Would it be able to chill two 2-ft tanks?

Thanks.

hi noobsheep depends on many litres your 3 feet tank holds .
1 advice is a 3 feet, get a 4 feet chiller. it will reduce your bills.
many factors to take note of , your ambience temerature?
if it is not hot at all , your chiller wont do alot of work thus yur bills wont be high, your carninster , your carninster must have enough power to flow through the chiller ex(cl280 needs mim of 500l/h) take note of that.
dun put in your room my advice is . when you are sleeping water evaporate somehow and you are breathing it in , its not good for your heath in long term run.

Best and seriously not to put in your room.
haha
somwhere else in the living room wheres theres air in and out.
many factors too.
like chiller must not be placed near the wall resulting in alot of heat from the back of the chiller to your wall . cl650 produce alot of heat while cl280 seems fine to me . i personallly spent around 4xx to do my new setup.try to find a new place to put the 3 feet and your current tanks.
