There's an option to buy a bigger filter, but I heard recently from my frined, many crs breeders in tw chain two canister filters together,

Canister 1 pulls Canister 2 where canister 2 doesn't have a motor or plugged in, for more surface area for bacteria/filtering capabilities.

Anyone here try using this method for filtration?

Yes, you have the first one driving the flow and act as a mechcanical filter while the second act as biofilter, but it is not necesary to have such exaggerated setup to breed CRS.

In TW, they create trend on how to setup, they follow trend and sometime they back to the original point. Like use of undergravel filter, they started off without undergravel filter, then it became a "must", now people are back to use without undergravel filter.
