View Full Version : Neocaridina denticulata davidi - some pics

I have been lurking here for a while and finally took the time to register.
I am quite new to the shrimp-keeping hobby and aquaria in general.
I got a bunch of N.d.davidi from a friend to clean my Betta smaragdina tank. Now some of them live in another tank with OCP's and a few bee shrimp. I really like them, as they are quite active and swim a lot, compared to the bees at least. They seem to be very polymorphic. I have some almost patternless animals, one that occasionally turns blue-ish, a red one and, my favorite, a female with a solid dorsal stripe. The striped female is carrying eggs at the moment. If i get some striped babies from her, I will try to separate a group and do some selective breeding. Would be a fun small project.

Thanks for looking,
Jan Philip
