I have a 55 gallon that is cycling right now. It's heavily planted with high light, and I want to use it to breed shrimp. I plan on having yellow shrimp, which should be pretty hardy, and OEBT. i have read mixed reports on whether Excel is safe with shrimp. Most people who use the standard dosing or less seem to have no problems. Not sure if I should risk it with expensive OEBTs. So then my question is pressurized CO2. I know some use it in their shrimp tanks. Would it be ok to have pressurized CO2? Maybe keep it at 15ppm or so?
