Hy,

First of all, sorry for my english. I want to share some pictures about my shrimps i think they are yellow rili.
In the february of 2012 was born a male rili in my yellow fire tank. I was took to another tank with 6 neon yellow fire female and start the breed. The results:now i have got the 4rd generation so it seems inheritable the color variation. The population is about 10 (i need to increase).

Hello,

Thank you for all!
Several days ago a berried female rili (pic called F3) was left her eggs, so i've got some growth. The baby shrimps are very small, and they haven't got color yet. I hope this growth includes a high percentage of little yellow rili. It will to clear up soon.
New pic one of the adult rili:

Hi fulton, the rili factor did act as recesive when you cross your first yellow rili with the yellow fire? I mean, the first offspring did look like yellow fire or there was same rili yellow in the F1? Thanks a lot, I'm working in something similar and your answer will make me save months of work if I planificate well.

I think it wasn't works as recessive, because in the first grown includes the same yellow rili pattern (only 1-2 yellow rili was born), like his father have. But there are a lot of yellow (different quality in point of color). The grown ratio is 98% yellow vs. 2% or less yellow rili. I hope this ratio will be change for in favour of rilis (constantly i select the "custom" yellow ones). I hope i could help to you.

All the generations are in one common tank.

I have got luck because the male rili's first childs (the first generation) includes female rili. So that takes the average ~4-5 week.

Hy Guys,

I've got a lot of things to do in the last few weeks so I haven't got time to manage this forum. The news about my yellow rili shrimps: unfortunately some shrimp are die because in Hungary the weather was too hot, but the rest of yellow rilis are fine and breed, they are fine after a long travelling (I was moved to Germany, with my shrimps).
