Description:
Black Tiger shrimp is a mutation from Caridina cf. cantonensis "Tiger" which was first seen and breed by a German Shrimpmaniac named Kai A. Quante.
As you can see on pictures there are different colourations. Full cover colouration is possible through selective Breeding.
My experience on this species:
I keep and breed them in tank from 40-90ltr without any problems. I feed them with different leaves like Indian almond, oak and beech. Also with spinach, Novo Prawn and other dry-food.
Remarks:
It is a rare Species. Some people crossback with "Blue Tiger" and some Offspring can have Golden Eyes. Colour will then be more Blue/Black.
